The end.

The radish taste test
Our Radish taste test.
This morning at school, Mrs.Harewa showed us some radishes she grew in her garden, she pulled out 2 small radishes from a bread bag. She told us that they were fresh from her garden and we were going to the teacher’s staff room to taste them. We all lined up outside and Mrs.Harewa took us there. She told us all to sit down on one of the chairs. “ Ok, Grace and Erin please go wash the radishes.” she said. When Grace and Erin had finished washing the radishes Mrs. Harewa got a small knife and started cutting the radishes in small pieces, once we had put the radishes in our mouth and started chewing them a little, all of us went straight to the rubbish bin! We all opened the bin up and spit the radish out! Most of us thought it was spicy or disgusting. The others SOMEHOW thought it was pretty good.

The pygmy sea horse
Hello Everyone! I'm Nitya and This my pygmy sea horse writing. We are learning about preservation amd conservation this term! This is my work! Have you seen a pygmy seahorse? Was it orange or purple?
The pygmy Sea horse
Hello people! It's me Nitya Telling you about one of my COOLEST pieces of writing yet! It's about the most TINEIEST sea horse on earth, the pygmy sea horse. Have you seen one before? And was it Orange or purple? Here is my work!
The Pygmy seahorse.
Pygmy seahorses are one of the smallest seahorses on earth. Camouflage is critical to their survival, it’s how they hide from predoters. These seahorses are very fragile, so unless they find a place to camouflage, they will DIE. The Pygmy seahorse spends all of its adult life on a type of coral called a sea fan. Orange Pygmy seahorses hide on orange coral and purple Pygmy seahorses hide on purple coral. But here's the question, do they change their colour to match the coral that they find, or do they look for coral that matches their colour? To explore that quistion, scientists went to the Philippines and took a small piece that had a pair of mating pygmy seahorses on it and put them in a tank. Then when the babies were about to come out, They placed some purple sea fan in the tank with no Pygmy seahorse in it and placed it in the tank as well. When the babies came out and grew a little, they turned purple! So that answers the question, Pygmy seahorses change their colour to match the coral they find!

Conclusion.
This week we have been learning how to conclude. Concluding is like a blurb on the back of a book. We had to read an article about insect habitats and write or record a conclusion/ summary about the article. Here is my work! (It's pretty short...)
This story is all about insect habitats/homes. Some insects build more complex nests than others such as ants and Termites. Lots of insects build all kinds of homes, they could be big or small. In conclusion, this book states that insects can build all kinds of things!

How I would save a rare red panda
Hi people! It's me again, Nitya. Im gonna tell you about my writing that I did this week! It's called: How I would save a rare red panda! Have you seen a red panda and where? Here is my work!
How I would save red pandas
The most endangered species of bear is the red panda. There are less than 10,000 red pandas alive due to COVID-19. We humans are destroying their habitats by cutting down trees and other native plants. This could also be a huge impact on us because the more we cut down trees, the harder it gets for us to breath. The red panda is the original panda, discovered some 50 years before the giant panda!Red pandas are the only species remaining in their taxonomic family, a living relic of the past. Saving them is important to the preservation of the world's natural heritage and global biodiversity.I help them by,Not littering, informing others about red pandas and how to save them from going extinct.I would also make Lot’s of red panda resorts, where people would get red panda that look sick or ingured and take them to the resort to be looked after, there would be plenty of food and water for them to drink and eat. There would also be little baskets up in the trees that are filled with soft cotten for them to sleep in. there would also be plenty of trees for them to climb on and get exercise for them to go back into the wild

Screen time should be limited to 1 hour per day.
Hello Everyone! Today I did some writing about how Screen time should be limited to 1 hour per day.
There is not much to explain so here's my work.Do you agree or disagree with me and why?
Screen time should be limited to 1 hour per day
Screen time should be limited to 1 hour per day. The reason why I agree with this is because If we have too much screen time e.g: More than 3 hours, Could hurt your eyes badly and could cause some serious disabilities like colour blindness or even blindness! We should have 1-3 hours per day,I think more than that is really bad.My screen time is usually 1-2 hours per day, but I am not allowed to watch 1-2 hours per day at one single time, I have to watch it in chunks of time. If you like to watch your screen and you don’t have a time limit get some blue light glasses. These kind of glasses aren’t like any kind of normal glasses, these are blue light glasses, these glasses help your eyes protect themselves from blue light, blue light is projected from technologies like i-pads,phones etc.Blue light could really hurt your eyesight and as I said earlier it could make you colour blind or make you you blind, but is there a a way to get rid of blue light from our phones and i-pads? Well,No. Well,Not yet. Scientists are still trying to find a way to get rid of it.

Why we should grow our own vegetables
Hello there! Today I'll be sharing some more writing from lockdown,This one is about why we should grow our own vegetables.Do you agree with me and why? I would love to know! Here's my work.
We should grow our own
Vegetables because so we can be healthy in our own ways
All green vegetables are minerals, they also have iron in them, but these minerals have iron in different form. There not a big quantity of iron. They are teeny tiny pieces of iron that you can not see with a naked eye.Vegetables are very healthy.
Why do we need packaging?
I was learning about marketing and packaging,We had to do some writing on why we need packaging.
Why do YOU think we need packaging and why?I would love to know! Here's my work:
Why do we need Packaging?
Packaging is an important part of marketing. If it was a drink, the cup would still be a part of its packaging. If it had no cup,You guessed it! It would all just spill out! Same with other foods like fish and chips and McDonalds. Having a good package is also a good way to get customers to buy your product. It's also a great way to let your creativity run wild! The cool designs on the package can help people buy it too! On the package you can also write something catchy about your product.
